App focus area?
Can anyone clarify if the app developed is supposed to target a specific local community or be an app that can be used in any community? For example, the FCC blog says: "Apps for Communities takes location out of the equation-- we're looking for developers to use technology and data to help improve access to services in any community across the country." http://beta.fcc.gov/blog/apps-communities
Perhaps this is referring to the fact that apps could be replicated in different communities??

A: Yes, apps that can be used in different settings and across a variety of communities and community needs will help make this contest more valuable to the end users who will use the apps. In fact, one of the prizes in this contest will be awarded to the app that is the most reusable in different kinds of communities.
