How do submissions work?

I've tried three times to submit a project, and it does not appear in the list of submitted projects or in my challengepost profile.
Can you verify that my submission was recevied?

  Apologies - I see my three submission attempts now.  Looks like they went through just fine.
  Is there any way to delete/discard the first two submission attempts and use only the last?
  Thanks!
