OSI Approved open source licenses - need info

I am an independent developer of apps for Android phones.  I am not familiar with the ins and outs open source licensing.  Can someone point me to good documentation on OSI Approved open source licenses that won't require a lot of time to digest and won't require me to pay a lawyer to implement?
