Image File Upload Problem

I am trying to upload a 320x480 PNG image file and it just shows the moving clock image like it's working, but it never finishes.  I tried rotating the image to 480x320 but it didn't help.  Anyone had a problem like this?

    Tried a 480x800 image and it worked.
